Researchers unveil Black Panther 2.0, a robotic dog that runs 100 meters in under 10 seconds.

Researchers from Zhejiang University and Mirror Me have created a robotic dog named Black Panther 2.0, which can run 100 meters in under 10 seconds, making it one of the world's fastest quadruped robots. Weighing 38 kg, the robot achieves a peak stride frequency of five times per second thanks to features modeled after animals like black panthers and jerboas, including springs in knee joints, carbon-fiber shins, and cheetah-inspired "running shoes." The robot uses AI to adjust its gait and aims to bridge the mobility gap between robots and living organisms.
