Los Angeles struggles with the Palisades Fire as water shortages and strong winds hamper firefighting efforts.

Los Angeles is facing severe challenges in battling the Palisades Fire due to extreme winds and water supply issues. Three large water tanks, each holding a million gallons, ran dry under the fourfold increase in demand, reducing water pressure. The fire has destroyed over 1,000 structures and burned over 15,800 acres. LADWP has asked residents to conserve water and boil their water for safety over the next two days.
