New Orleans firefighters contained a fire in the French Quarter's Chartres Street building, the site of four fires.

Firefighters in New Orleans responded to a fire in the French Quarter on Thursday afternoon. The blaze broke out around 2:20 PM in an unoccupied apartment building on Chartres Street, spreading to the roof before being contained an hour later. No injuries were reported, and 18 fire units with 47 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and it is the fourth time this building has caught fire.
