Indian firm WABAG lands €78M deal to build wastewater plants in Zambia, using green energy.

Indian water company VA Tech WABAG has secured a €78 million contract to build two wastewater treatment plants in Zambia, funded by the European Investment Bank and Germany's KfW. The project, which includes design and operation phases, aims to improve wastewater management using green energy sources like biogas and solar power. This marks WABAG's entry into the Zambian market, enhancing its presence in Africa.
