Indian firm VA Tech Wabag secures $14M, seven-year deal to operate Bahrain's wastewater plant.

Indian water treatment company VA Tech Wabag secured a $14 million, seven-year contract to operate a wastewater treatment plant in Bahrain. The plant uses advanced Membrane Bioreactor technology to process 4,400 gallons of wastewater per minute. This contract follows their current management of another sewage treatment plant in Bahrain since 2018, and it led to an 8.21% rise in Wabag's share prices.
