Mike Myers, who took over the Shrek role after Chris Farley's death, confirms he's working on "Shrek 5."

In a recent interview, Mike Myers shared that he was offered the role of Shrek in the lobby of the "Saving Private Ryan" premiere, feeling emotional from the event. Initially hesitant, he agreed after seeing the concept. Originally, the role was intended for Chris Farley, who recorded much of the voiceover before his death in 1997. Myers confirmed he is working on "Shrek 5," set for release in 2026.
