Universal Pictures and DreamWorks re-release Shrek 2 in theaters on April 12, 2024, for its 20th anniversary.
In honor of Shrek 2's 20th anniversary, Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation are releasing the iconic animated film back into theaters on April 12, 2024. Originally released in 2004, the film broke box office records and earned over $928M worldwide. Tickets for the limited-time re-release will be available on Fandango and other ticketing sites starting March 8, with AMC Theaters offering tickets at $5.
