China's first AC-to-DC power project passes green assessment, boosting transmission capacity.

The Yangzhou-Zhenjiang ±200kV DC Transmission Project in China has successfully passed a green construction assessment by the China Electric Power Construction Association. As the country's first AC-to-DC conversion project, it significantly increased the transmission capacity of the Wufeng Mountain crossing and eased pressure on existing cross-river channels. The project sets a new benchmark for green construction in power projects and aims to provide replicable models for future engineering.
