Daughter and son-in-law of Sir Tom Moore accused of misusing £1 million from charity, banned as trustees.

The Charity Commission has accused Captain Sir Tom Moore's daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore, and her husband, Colin, of misconduct for gaining over £1 million through the Captain Tom Foundation, set up in Sir Tom’s honor during the pandemic. The commission found they misled the public, using the charity’s name for personal benefit and failing to donate proceeds from a £1.4 million book deal to the charity. The Ingram-Moores were banned from being charity trustees but have rejected the findings, insisting they were treated unfairly.
