Two shootings during New Orleans' "9th Ward Holiday" parade left two dead and ten injured.

Two people were killed and ten injured in two separate shootings during a parade celebration in New Orleans on Sunday. The first shooting happened around 3:38 p.m. on Almonaster Avenue, with eight victims found with gunshot wounds. About 45 minutes later, another shooting occurred near the Almonaster Bridge, leaving two people dead, one at the scene and another in the hospital. No arrests have been made, and the police are unsure if the incidents are related. The event, known as the "9th Ward Holiday," is a second line parade organized by the Nine Times Social Aid & Pleasure Club.
