1 June: A man was fatally shot in downtown New Orleans on Saturday night at 11:05 pm in the 300 block of Marais Street, one block away from Canal Street. The age and identity of the victim were not disclosed. Police arrived at the scene where the man was declared dead. As of now, no information regarding a suspect or motive has been provided by the authorities. (NOPD investigating)
