Stock futures edge up ahead of key earnings, with 75% of S&P 500 companies beating expectations.

Stock futures showed slight gains Sunday night as investors look forward to key earnings reports this week, including Nvidia’s on Wednesday. The Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq ended last week lower, off their post-election highs. So far, 93% of S&P 500 companies have reported results, with three-quarters beating earnings expectations. Bank of America raised its year-end S&P 500 target to 6,000, noting the market is "statistically expensive" but suggesting potential rotations into cyclical and high dividend stocks.
