The study of 1,475 workers and interviews with 111 industry professionals found that while high salaries compensate for long hours, a mandatory five-day work week could raise project costs and completion times. Instead, providing greater flexibility in work schedules is suggested as a better solution to improve work-life balance and attract more women to the industry.
