Bank robber Jason Arsenault sentenced to 3 years for stealing from a South Portland bank.

Jason Arsenault, 41, was sentenced to three years in prison for robbing a South Portland bank in January. He used a pneumatic tube to pass a threatening note demanding $50,000 and fled with an undisclosed amount. Arsenault was arrested six days later after surveillance footage led police to his vehicle. He confessed and returned most of the stolen money, leading to a $1,700 restitution. He will also serve three years of supervised release.
