76-year-old Myrtle Beach man, John Henry Stack, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for robbing an Aynor bank in March 2023. Stack, who was on supervised release from previous federal bank robbery convictions, used a pillowcase and a long-handled lighter concealed as a gun to demand money. He was found guilty by a federal jury and sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie.
