On October 30, a produced water spill occurred near Williston, North Dakota, releasing about 497 barrels (20,874 gallons) due to a well malfunction. Approximately 3 barrels (126 gallons) impacted rangeland. Grayson Mills Operating reported the incident to the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality, which is coordinating cleanup and monitoring the situation.
