Survivors of the 1994 Rwandan genocide are testifying at the Paris trial of former doctor Eugène Rwamucyo, accused of involvement in the killings of over 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus. Charged with genocide, complicity, and crimes against humanity, Rwamucyo, 65, denies all allegations and could face life imprisonment if convicted. This trial is the seventh in Paris related to the genocide, involving eight Rwandan nationals.
