The International Crimes Tribunal in Bangladesh has presented 13 high-profile individuals, including nine former ministers, accused of crimes against humanity and genocide during a student-led uprising last year. The accused include Anisul Huq, Faruk Khan, and Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury. The tribunal set December 17, 2024, for the submission of the probe report. Tight security was in place during their appearance.
