North Bay, Canada, has announced it will not invest further in the West Ferris Arena, which has a replacement value of $60 million and contributes to the city's $28.8 million deficit in its corporate asset management plan. The arena will continue operations until the end of its life. The city is required to prepare a strategic Asset Management Plan by July 1, 2024, to assess all assets and their needs, aimed at optimizing future investments.
