Michael Lynn Hamby, a 56-year-old man from Greenville, South Carolina, died on October 15 from blunt-force trauma sustained in an accident on October 13. He fell through a roof while clearing debris and cutting trees related to Hurricane Helene cleanup. Despite being transported to Prisma Greenville Memorial Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The Greenville County Coroner's Office ruled his death accidental.
