James McGarey, a 53-year-old man from Albion, Maine, died in a car accident on East Benton Road on Friday night. Around 7:41 p.m., he lost control of his Dodge pickup, veered off the road, and struck a rock. Despite attempts by first responders to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Maine State Police are investigating the incident and are seeking any witnesses or information at 207-624-7076.
