University of Glasgow leads UK's £25M sustainable electronics initiative.
The University of Glasgow will lead the UK's first sustainable electronics center, REACT, with a £5.5 million investment as part of a £25 million initiative to accelerate the green economy. Collaborating with the University of Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt University, and the Compound Semiconductor Catapult, the four-year project aims to reduce electronic waste, reliance on critical materials, and carbon emissions in the electronics industry, while supporting local SMEs and skills training.
