Australian and Western Australian governments invest $70.5m in Clean Energy Skills National Centre of Excellence in WA for renewable energy workforce training.

The Australian and Western Australian governments have jointly invested $70.5m to establish the Clean Energy Skills National Centre of Excellence in WA. The 5-year plan aims to create a skilled workforce for renewable energy projects in the state, involving original equipment manufacturers in education. The Centre will lead training in solar, wind, hydrogen, batteries, and grid integration, and expand access to clean energy skills training at independent RTOs and TAFE campuses.
