New Britain's $80 million fuel cell project, set to begin producing power from a 67-cell array at the Stanley Works complex in May, will supply up to 20 megawatts to the larger grid. The first phase of the New Britain Energy & Innovation Park, the project includes plans for a $1bn data center and aims to contribute to future manufacturing growth in the city. Delays have been caused by supply chain issues and changes in fuel cell vendors.
