This funding aims to advance the local hydrogen economy, transitioning from fossil-based to renewable sources. Initiatives include the UK's first low carbon hydrogen hub at Stanlow Refinery and a 3GW electrolysis plant in Scotland. Additionally, £500,000 has been allocated to develop next-gen electrolyser technologies to support the hydrogen market.
