Ribbon Communications has unveiled the first compact modular solution capable of supporting both 400G ZR+ and upgradable to 800G ZR+ technology at the NGON/NetworkX event. The demonstration highlights the 9408 platform, which boasts 25.6T density per 2RU and low power consumption under 0.07W/G, aiming to lower total cost of ownership. This innovation is part of Ribbon's strategy to enhance network transformation through advanced IP optical solutions.
