Cork school building plan delayed due to local appeal over traffic concerns.

Plans for a new school building at Christian Brothers College in Cork have been paused due to an appeal from local property owner Con Murphy. While Cork City Council granted permission for the facility designed for 150 students, Murphy contends it could actually accommodate 200, worsening local traffic. The school insists there will be no increase in enrollment. An Bord Pleanála will review the appeal, potentially delaying the project.
