Karnataka's Medical Education Minister forms fee regulatory committee for nursing college fees.

Karnataka’s Medical Education Minister, Sharan Prakash Patil, announced a fee regulatory committee to address complaints about high nursing college fees. The five-member committee will review fee structures and can revoke Essential and Feasibility Certificates from colleges exceeding government limits. Inspections of nursing colleges will ensure they meet required standards and operate exclusively in nursing. Current fees range from ₹10,000 to ₹1.4 lakh, depending on student category.
