Madras High Court orders Tamil Nadu govt to instruct schools not to require Transfer Certificates (TCs) from previous institutions for admitting new students, and prohibits making unnecessary fee-related entries in TCs to prevent violations under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. The govt is urged to review and amend Tamil Nadu Education Rules and Code of Regulation for Matriculation Schools accordingly.
