The Bankers' Committee has completed the restoration of Nigeria's National Theatre, a project aimed at unlocking the potential of the country's creative sector and providing job opportunities, income generation, and foreign exchange earnings for Nigerian youth. The renovation involved extensive upgrades to the facility, including the main bowl, banquet halls, exhibition halls, cinemas, and artists' changing rooms, as well as the replacement of the HVAC system and upgrading of fire safety standards, power, water supply, and sewage systems. The restored National Theatre will serve as a platform for arts, tourism, and culture, as well as a venue for conferences and international events.
