32-year-old Gloria B. Endress, known as Engel W. Immer, was arrested after allegedly stabbing a Spokane County deputy during a welfare call. The deputy, who is expected to recover and return to duty, was stabbed in the upper left chest during the incident. Endress was subdued with a taser after refusing to drop her knife and pepper spray. She has a history of behavior-related issues and has been the subject of previous crisis calls.
