Christen Lau was arrested after a man was stabbed with a butcher knife in Lenoir County.

Christen Lau, a 31-year-old woman from Grifton, was arrested on January 16 after allegedly stabbing a 31-year-old man with a butcher knife in Lenoir County. The victim, found with wounds to his arm and chest, was taken to UNC Lenoir Health Care. Lau was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and resisting a public officer. Initially held without bond, her bond was later set at $50,000.
