87-year-old New Jersey Democratic Representative, Bill Pascrell Jr., passed away after serving 14 terms in Congress. Pascrell, who represented Paterson, was known for advocating for emergency responders and aiding victims of Superstorm Sandy. He had planned to run for a 15th term in the fall. Pascrell was the second New Jersey representative to die in office this year.
