A study in Neurology® found no link between migraines and Parkinson's disease risk for 39,312 female participants, aged 55 on average, over a 22-year period. Researchers adjusted for factors like age, physical activity, alcohol use, and smoking status but acknowledged the need for more studies, including on men and different ethnicities/races. Limitations included self-reported data and the potential for participants to develop Parkinson's after the study.
