Bank Indonesia has maintained its benchmark interest rate at 6.25% for the fourth consecutive session, aiming to stabilize the rupiah exchange rate and control inflation within the target range of 1.5% to 3.5% for 2024 and 2025. The central bank expects Indonesia's economic growth for 2024 to be between 4.7% and 5.5%. Bank Indonesia will continue to strengthen the synergy between government fiscal stimulus and macroprudential policies to support sustainable economic growth.
