Bank Indonesia will hold its key interest rate at 6.25% on July 17 and is expected to cut it by 25 basis points in the next quarter, due to the likelihood of policy easing by the U.S. Federal Reserve in September, according to a Reuters poll. All 35 economists in the poll anticipated the central bank to maintain its 7-day reverse repurchase rate at 6.25% at the conclusion of its two-day meeting.
