SDLP leader reinstates party whip for Assembly member McNulty after suspension for leaving Assembly early for GAA match.
SDLP leader Colum Eastwood reinstated the party whip for Assembly member Justin McNulty, who was suspended for leaving a crucial Assembly session early to attend a GAA match. McNulty, Newry and Armagh representative, had his whip suspended in February for leaving the Assembly early to manage a Laois GAA team match. The whip has now been restored, with McNulty expected to return to the SDLP Assembly team following a review.
