A fire at a mixed-use building on Bay St, Rochester, housing a liquor store and apartments, led to one person jumping from a second-story window to escape. All five residents managed to escape, with none trapped. Firefighters controlled the fire within an hour, hospitalized the residents for evaluation, and no firefighters or additional individuals were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
