44 meth-laced Rinda-brand lollies, disguised as confectionery, have been recovered in New Zealand as a result of the Operation Tirade investigation. Approximately 75 lollies containing methamphetamine have been accounted for, with some accidentally ending up in food parcels for the homeless in Auckland. The Auckland City Mission is cooperating with authorities to identify the source of the contaminated lollies, and the New Zealand Police continue to warn against dealing methamphetamine as a serious offense.
