African lion pair rescued from Ukraine invasion-damaged enclosure by UK's Big Cat Sanctuary.

Kent-based Big Cat Sanctuary rescued African lioness Yuna and male lion Rori from Ukraine, where they suffered psychological issues and injury due to debris blast near their enclosure during Russia's invasion. Yuna received treatment at Wild Animal Rescue in Kyiv before embarking on a four-day, six-country journey. The sanctuary, part of the Big Cats in Crisis campaign, has raised over £300,000 of its £500,000 target for transportation costs, veterinary treatment, and construction of the Lion Rescue Centre.
