The Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation in Saskatchewan has ordered the evacuation of its Sandy Bay community due to the growing Flanagan wildfire, currently uncontrolled and spanning 130 sq km. Approximately 1,800 residents are affected, with the fire within 20 km of the community. The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency is monitoring the situation.
