WAPDA completes diversion tunnels for Swat River at Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project in Pakistan, with river diversion imminent after finishing the river-closure-dyke. The dam, set to be the world's 5th highest concrete-face-rock-fill dam, aims to store 1.29 million acre-feet of water, generate 800 MW of electricity, and provide water and benefits worth Rs. 51.6 billion annually.
