The South-to-North Water Diversion Project in China has transferred 76.5 billion cubic meters of water to northern regions, benefiting over 185 million people and supplying 45 cities along the eastern and central routes. Operational for a decade, the project aims to address water scarcity by moving water from the south. Investments in water projects have increased by 11.7% this year to 1.09 trillion yuan.
