New Zealand's Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) plans to expand its treatment options for clients by approving more medical professionals, such as paramedics and audiometrists, to provide ACC-funded treatment. This follows public consultation and updates to definitions for acupuncturist, audiologist, and nurse. ACC Minister Matt Doocey's regulatory changes aim to improve access to treatment for ACC claimants and align with the government's priority of delivering better public services.
