Union Pacific, the US's largest railroad, has not fully implemented a schedule agreement to provide predictable schedules for its engineers, despite promises to address quality-of-life concerns. The new schedules, when implemented, allow engineers to attend doctor's appointments and be present at important family events, but issues remain.
