United Steelworkers union reaches tentative 3-year contract agreement with CN Rail for 3,000 workers in Canada.

The United Steelworkers union (USW) has reached a tentative agreement with Canadian National Railway (CN Rail) for a new three-year contract covering approximately 3,000 workers across Canada. The deal covers employees who inspect, maintain, and repair the railway's track, bridges, and infrastructure. Ratification meetings are planned for this month with results expected by the end of March or early April. CN Rail is still working towards reaching a deal with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference for about 6,000 conductors and other employees.
