Wisconsin launches "Prince Act" expanding criteria for issuing missing child alerts.

Wisconsin has launched a new Missing Child Alert system in response to the tragic cases of Prince McCree and Lily Peters. Named the "Prince Act," the system expands criteria for issuing alerts for missing children, allowing alerts for those under 10 or those under 18 believed to be incapable of returning home without assistance due to physical or mental conditions. The alerts will be distributed through the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network, Wireless Emergency Alerts, Wisconsin Lottery terminals, and the Department of Transportation's Dynamic Messaging Boards.
