On July 11th, a Mohave County Sheriff's Office Sergeant in Arizona rescued a baby eagle found under his patrol car during an off-duty road construction detail. Workers at the site alerted the officer to the distressed bird, who along with a deputy, moved the car and brought the eagle to safety in the backseat. The injured bird was then handed over to a wildlife organization for care.
