21-year-old man from Nowra, NSW, faces charges after a fatal car crash in Tarago, south of Goulburn, killed three friends. The driver, who had a suspended license, faced charges of three counts of negligent driving occasioning death and one count of driving a motor vehicle while his license was suspended. The crash occurred on July 28 as the group was returning from a 21st birthday celebration in Canberra. The driver, who survived with non-life-threatening injuries, was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear in Goulburn Local Court on October 9. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
