80% of the Paris Olympics mascots, known as Phryges, are manufactured in China, as well as the majority of sports accessories like binoculars, cheering sticks, and fan scarves. Additionally, Chinese brands and cities are showcasing their culture throughout the event, such as tea brand HEYTEA opening a pop-up store in Paris and toy company Pop Mart opening an outlet near the Louvre Museum. This increased presence of Chinese products and culture during the Olympics signifies the growing global influence of China.
